Activities on the subject of ballast water management continue to grow in the US and around the world. From the development of pilot projects on ballast water treatment systems and test-bed facilities to evaluate these technologies, to the regulations being enacted at the state level, the need exists for updated information to be provided to our members on a continuing basis.Members of the SOCP are working in partnership with Maritime Administration on Ballast Water initiatives.
