Project Title: Y2K Readiness

Prior to the Y2K event, SOCP initiated a Y2K Readiness Program to assist SOCP members with being prepared.  SOCP held panels during several meetings to discuss Y2K related issues such as equipment problems, testing methods , organizational policies, and contingency planning for Y2K.  In addition, SOCP disseminated practical information regarding issues and solutions to the Y2K problem.  SOCP developed a web site containing information regarding Y2K and generated a database of equipment with potential problems.  Below is a list of topics covered on the SOCP Y2K website.
