Project Title: Boiler Automation Inspection CD-ROM - Multimedia Training

SOCP is pleased to announce the availability of the Boiler Automation Inspection CD-ROM. The CD-ROM was developed and is being offered by SOCP to assist with the development of streamlining boiler automation inspection procedures and training.

This Boiler Automation Inspection CD-ROM is intended to perform two functions with respect to the inspection of Boiler Automation Systems. The first is to describe a step-by-step procedure to enable the ships crew to create a streamlined inspection procedure and prepare the needed documentation to obtain USCG approval of the modified procedure. This part of the presentation combines a description of the philosophy behind regulatory testing requirements and provides a methodology for developing an alternative simplified test plan for USCG approval. The second is to train the crew to conduct a typical Boiler Automation System Inspection. This is a multi-presentation of the tasks to be performed to carry out a typical inspection of a Boiler Automation System.
