Project Title:   Training Videos

This project involved identifying and reviewing various maritime video tapes available to the marine industry with regard to their relevance and effectiveness in presentations on the subjects of personal safety, ship operations, and maintenance. Subject to identification of insufficiencies, SOCP produces videos that best meet the needs of its members.  Scripts are written, footage shot in facilities or on ships of member organizations, and finally a video is produced by video production experts.

A set of 13 training videos has been completed for use by shipboard personnel. The videos address STCW training requirements as well as other subjects where there is an unmet need. Current titles include:
